Club Description
Research is a cornerstone of evidence-based medicine, contributing to advancements in clinical care, medical education, and public health policy. Despite its importance, many medical students face barriers when trying to engage in research, including limited mentorship, lack of familiarity with researchmethodology, and uncertainty about how to begin.
The goal of the LECOM Research Club is to create an inclusive, collaborative space where students can gain foundational research skills, connect with faculty and peer mentors, and receive guidance throughout the research process. By equipping students with the tools and confidence to participate in scholarly work, this club aims to increase research engagement and overall academic enrichment across the student body.
